Remarks

The only bad thing I feel about the college is that they do not have a strong Union which would work for the benefit of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is a well oriented medical college with almost all facilities and internship structure. After 5.5 years of study, those willing to serve the bond are given posting by the ESIC headquarters to either state or central govt ESI hospitals according to choices filled.

Placement Experience

4.5

We have compulsory rotatory internship in this College for 1 year, because internship completion certificate is essential in getting our registration number. We are given duties in every clinical field along with urban and rural center visits. Community health development is also taken care of. Postings to those who serve the bond are alloted post internship.

College Events

3.5

Inter College Cultural fests occur yearly for around 5 days which involves sports and cultural events with star night performances and band performances are conducted here. Venue is Aristro Club since our auditorium is under construction. Our fest is named Surge. Many colleges participate and lucrative prizes are won Apart from that we have yearly freshers ceremony (Crescendo) and farewell ceremony (Vigama) which is conducted all thouroughout the day within the campus. Sports week is held for 5 days yearly at our own playground. This is usually intra college and many times faculties also join us in this game.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Current fee structure is a bit expensive, goes to 1 lakh pa. With a service bond if 3 years. But Initially it was 24000 pa. With a service bond of 5 years. Bond breaking amount till the batch of 2016 is 7.5 lakhs, and rest afterwards is 10 lakhs. No additional payment is required, Caution money yearly 5000 is charged which is refundable and Hostel Security of 10,000 is charged just once. All refundable.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a central government college so fees are less. Scholarships are given as oer government rules to students admitted under backward class quota.

Campus Life

4.5

Well maintained campus, with a playground, canteens and cafetaria. The auditorium is still under construction. Yearly fest, freshers and farewell are held, along with sports week and cultural weeks are celebrated. The population there is pretty diverse ranging to people of different states, and religions. Boy to girl ratio is 60 to 40. 16 floors each boys and girls hostel separately are present and separate accomodation for first years are present.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes. We have sharing rooms for first years, since they live separately. The main hostel has single rooms with balcony. 8 people can be accommodated in a wing, with a common corridor, common shared bathourooms and washourooms( 2 each in every wing). There are 4 wings in a floor, in 4 different directions. Elevator goes to every floor. Water purifier is provided in every floor. The ground floor has Common room with TV, gymnasium and TT table. With security guards guarding the hostel 24*7. Daily cleaning of the floors and bathourooms by the conservancy is assured.

Alumni/Alumna

Its a new college, we don't have any alumni association, but we are all planning for the association. This college has seen many hurdles while getting recognition as a recognised medical college. Seniors are always very helpful, creating an amazing working and studying environment

Admission

I wanted to study MBBS, so counseling wise I finally got in here. All the regular steps that are followed post NEET UG entrance exams, were followed here. Classes began in October. This college had an extra burden of judicial service bonds, so that was the extra hurdle specific of this College.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are good, practical classes are conducted well. Wards are helpful in assesment along with lecture classes are taken as per schedule. Total hours of lectures are prefixed by the University hence classes are scheduled accordingly. Classes begin from 8am/9am till 4pm which includes practicals and wards along with lunch hour from 1pm -2pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.
