Course Curriculum Overview

4

The subjects and the fact that in a three year degree i could achieve honours made me choose cvv. the curriculum is prepared well that each and every course covered will for sure bring up the students to a higher and better standard of living as a psychologist. In teaching methods it would be better if they add the books to refer more. Exams are conducted very well as mid sems and sem exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

cvv's global internship program provides an exceptional chance for students and young professionals to acquire practical work experience in diverse cultural and business environment. i went to adarsh rehabilitation centre for internship in the first year itself.

Placement Experience

3.5

the strength of students placed is 40. the average package is 40000-100000. from second year onwards students get placement opportunities. after getting the degree i would like to take Postgraduate degree and then Phd

Fees and Financial Aid

payment of 50% of programme fee(that is first semester fee) and caution deposit (refundable) are required to be paid at the stage of accepting the admission l. the annual fee are subject to revision every year in line with inflation. scholarship offerings are provided to meritorious students who are wanting to pursue academic programmes at the university.

Campus Life

3

campus life is very less. because the campus i'm studying is very small but the other campuses of cvv is well developed ones. so infrastructure is not good in my campus. club activities and extra activity and programmes are very good.

Admission

The admission process was very well done. registration is done by myself via cvv site. then verified email. documents where uploaded and application fee was paid. application was done fully online. eligibility criteria : HSS or state board certificates, CBSE,ICSE, NIOS of india, IB Diploma, cambridge university certificate also.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of Cvv is the best. i should say. they are so dedicated to their work both in teaching and mentorship. Us students interact with the faculties very well. they're so approachable. But still one or two of them are there who needs to be more dedicated to their work and act like a teacher.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Sacred Heart College are quite promising and focus on equipping the student with the skill set for employment. Normally, a candidate may get eligible for campus placement after fifth semester , course-wise. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc.and offer roles in data analyst, software developer, marketing associate, etc.The highest package in recent years has been around ?10 LPA, while the average package ranges between ?3-5 LPA, depending on the company and job profile. About 80% of the students get campus placements, and others go for higher studies or start entrepreneurship. In case campus placement is not available for specific programs, the college facilitates career counseling and internships and provides skill development programs to improve employability. After my graduation, I would like to go for higher studies, a specific industry, business, etc. using the knowledge and experience acquired at Sacred Heart College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this coarse because i love geography. But it was not as same as i learnt in my higher secondary. But it also includes the continuation of +2 geography. The curriculum enables us for real world applications like Calculating time of different areas and the intensity of wind and weather symbols and also make us capable to identify types of rock. Actyally teaching method should be improved. Many interesting topics are turning into boring ones. They are conducting exams regularly to modify oru knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose geography for my graduation because of it was a rare course and only provided by three govt college in Calicut University. It is a good course and it's sub disciplines are very nice to connect with others. Frequency of exams are based on the time duration of finishing the semesters. Usually it's two sem exams in a year and with some other reasons it may get delayed. In course of three years all 6 semesters and it's exams along with project and practical will be finished. Field trip is the main attraction of the course.
