What Students Say

Likes

I like the infrastructure of this college it have a quite big playground along with basketball ground.
The central library is nice all the required books are available here.
The faculties are all Ph.D holders and they are very polite and supportive.

Dislikes

The canteen foods are very bad it should improve i think.
The last fees is very high according to the college performance.
Some classrooms are very dirty, college should take a look on these things.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I love Technology So I chose this course, the course curriculum is very nicely designed. In the 1st year, they teach you about c programming along with other core subjects, in the next coming years they will teach you Python, c++ & java. Before the Semester exam There are 4 internal exams will conduct of 25 marks.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 580225 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee for B.tech in Asansol Engineering College in 5.80 L (without hostel). with hostel, it will go up to 7-8L. you can apply for the Student Credit Card scheme or the swami Vivekananda scholarship if you are facing problems in paying fees. The placement scenarios is good highest package this year is 22 LPA(off-campus) and 13-14 LPA(on-campus).

Campus Life

The college organizes a fest which is called "Fiesta" every year. it has all the facilities like the central library and digital library it contains all the necessary books that are required, it has all kinds of labs like a computer science lab, IT project lab, etc. it has different types of clubs like coding club, Dev Soc, Hardware club, etc.

Admission

You can take admission through your WBJEE or JEE MAINS rank. other than that you can take direct admission also. you can find all the details on the college website: www.aecwb.edu.in. the odd semester is held in the middle of January and the even semester is held in December. before that, there will be 4 internal tests of 25 marks each. if I talk about the difficulty level of the sem exam so yes it is very difficult you've to study the whole syllabus thoroughly to even pass the exam.

The faculties are very good and very well educated as most of them are Ph.D holders, They are very friendly to us, They will help you in every situation. You can contact them whenever you facing a problem no matter what the timing they will help you.

Placement Experience:
