Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is so vast enough. Year by year the course curriculum is getting hectic. This makes the students more confusing in their curriculum. I personally think that the new curriculum the university has released is not helping the students as I have discussed with my friends

Internships Opportunities

3

The internship opportunities in our college is so fine and good. As it is a medical college and there are a lot of patients coming to the hospital the interns plays a major role in taking care of them. But the stipend fixed for the interns were not good and it is not as said by the government. Day by day the price of the basic need things are going high. As the inflation rate is far ahead of our salary. And we want to make a change for the better future for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly the tuition fee increases. Along with the tuition fee an additional special fees is also charging per year. This makes so trouble to me and to my family. In my institution i haven't heard about any scholarships or financial aid available for students

Campus Life

3.5

There isn't much enjoyment in campus life. But there are some programs and activities arranged and initiated by the college union. There are many clubs arranging programs for the students to take a break from the boring studies for a long period of time.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel are almost very good. But the hostel food was not tasty but not healthy also. We were paying a lot of money to the hostel as fees but they are not providing with good healthy food. That makes us to order food from outside and we had to pay a lot on that also.

Admission

The admission is purely based on the mark of the NEET examination. And also on the basis of the 12th board examination marks. The application form, fees and dates are all displayed on the site - neet.nta.nic.in . There wasn't any much difficulty finding the above mentioned data.

Faculty

4

The professors are good in teaching. Most of the professors has got a very good teaching experience. Most of the professors are so young and is easily approachable. They understand our situation and helps improve in our studies and other activities also.

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
