My College Experience

The college is overall good, has good placements and has a wide campus. The location is very good of our college, it is located in the main IT hub, has access to everything within the range of 5-6 kms.

The college is under VTU University,so the syllabus and course structures are set by them. From 2015 the syllabus was under CBCS scheme. The syllabus is pretty old fashioned but they are trying to advance it. The college has 3 internals and one external exam,it used to have 20-80 scheme.

The placements are pretty good. We have a wide range of companies coming in our college providing pretty good packages, the basic packages are 4lkh p.a. From the past 2 years, the highest packages are reaching up to 12-18lkh p.a. many prestigious companies are coming for placements like Delliote, LTI etc.

Every year our college conduct a fest known as CULTURA. It is a very hyped event, it is a 2-day event, the 1st day all the main stage events are conducted. Each department conducts their own event, every year many prestigious small companies sponsor our event. On the 2nd day, DJ or any prestigious singer is called to show their talent in our college. CULTURA is a very good fest conducted in our college.

The fees are pretty much higher compared to other colleges, per year fees are around 2 lakhs including everything. Those who opted for hostel have to pay around 1 lakh, the hostel fees vary every year according to seater type like single seater to 4 seaters.

no, I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan, the college generally provides scholarship based on parents income or on some exams.

The campus life is very happening, the gender ratio is almost equal and diverse types of people come to college to study even from foreign countries. The wide range of extracurricular activities is conducted in our college. Each department has its own fully equipped labs, there are sports events conducted on a monthly basis. Competitions like hackathon, debates, robotics etc are also conducted.

The alumni are nicely placed and are very helpful, same applies for senior students. They are always available for any help whenever needed.

The admission process was through counselling. Once the results was announced,the counselling dates were almost after a month. There were 2 rounds of counselling. In each rounds there were different slots on different day for different rank holders. The counselling process was pretty long,it had different stages of verification. After all the verification process,they were asked to put the 3 college choices of our own,according to seat availability the candidates were provided with college seats.

Each faculty in our college has their own mail id account on the college website. They are provided with links. We can excess our faculty with the provided links on the college website. We can also assess them physically, they are always present in the college in their cabins.
