Course Curriculum Overview

I am in AIML, in the first year all branches have common subjects from 2nd year they study their core subjects. The subjects in our courses helps to learn new skills. The frequency of exams is that 3 internal exams takes place in each semester along with lab internals, lab externals and then sem end exams.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 248000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2022 the fees was 248000, every year the fees increases by 20000 but only for new students. There are multiple scholarships by government of Karnataka for Karnataka students. As of campus employment you can work under some professors for some projects, many times there are projects from ISRO also.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Anaadyanta which is conducted about the month of May. There are multiple tech events also organised by Xfactor club, ECell(Enigma) Club, GDSC club. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. Sports events for basketball, football, kabaddi, kho kho, etc. There are multiple clubs available in the college like GDSC, Enigma, Art Club, XFactor Club,etc. they actually lets you enjoy the events and gain some real event management skills alongwith leadership qualities.

Admission

The student taking admission should have a 12th passing certificate as the basic eligibility. Then for merit admission you need to write Comedk exams for non Karnataka students and kcet for Karnataka students.

Faculty

1:10 will be the faculty to student ratio. There are enough teachers in every department and many of the faculties are PhD holders. Most of the faculties are good in teaching and explaining the topics. Here you can approach the faculties whenever needed.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
