the infrastructure of the college is very good
the coding culture of the college is very competitive
the faculties of the college are very helpful

Dislikes

No proper playground for cricket and majority of the sports
Located on the outskirts of the city with no connection from the proper banglore
There are many theoretical subjects which are given more importance than practicals

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very vast and theoretical subjects are many. practicals are of the least importance which is a major drawback. There are around 80 subjects to be studied in the 4 years. The time timing of the exam is after every 4 months.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 242000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is average and the majority of the lucrative packages are given to IT people and circuital branches are not preferred. The average package is around 6lakhs. The highest package is around 25LPA, and the companies visiting are PHONEPE, NUTANIX, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee structure is very high with around 2.5 lakhs to spend in a year. Also, the college takes some amount for internships and other kinds of stuff. The fee keeps on increasing after every year by about 30k. No scholarship is also provided.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good with proper exposure and the campus is lush green, you can be a part of different clubs for your learning as well as societies. The seniors are very helpful. sports is not given priority.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is decent and the rooms are either 2-sharing or 3-sharing. Maintenance is very good with proper cleaning facilities. The messy food is however average. The price for a hostel is 80k and the mess is 45k. It is on the expensive side.

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Admission

The admission process is somewhat sorted and it is easy to get admitted to the college. IT branches have more competition. Reservation is also provided for the students of Karnataka. The cutoff for COMEDK is around 8k for CSE and around 15k for ECE.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are well-trained in theoretical concepts but not in practical concepts. they hold phd and mtech in different fields but use old methodologies of teaching. They are helpful and give marks easily.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
