Likes

I liked the Campus very well and I liked the security provided by the Univerisity.
I also liked the hostel room and like the food which are provided by the hostel.
I also liked the behaviour of the faculty and their way to talk with everyone.

Dislikes

I disliked the strict rule which are made by the university
I also disliked the Scholarship program which are provided by the University.
I also disliked the late free which are made by the University.

According to me ,University provide all types of the faculity related to the course and provide the best technology which are in trending now and they provide various type of the value added course which povide the information about the technology,and they provide the communication classes in semester for increasing the public speking skills.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of the every course is different as my course BE(CSE) fee is 120000 per semester ,but when you crack the scholorship the scholorship ,so your fee is decereased according you gain scholirship.

Campus Life

Campus life of the University is is very fantasting ,and in the University have various type of the club such as astronomy club,IEEE club and they provide a research center of the student who are interested in space research center name is Kalpna chabla space center and it is free of all the students.

Admission

First you complete your registration in cuchd and select course and the give cuchd scholorship test and crack the eligibility criteria to take admssion in the university.when you give cuchd test a admission cell faculity contact you about the admission and confirm your admission ,In this you dont want to visit the University,Your admission is sucessfully.

I have observed many qualification and the various disqualification about the University,Just as the scholorship program when you do not score greater than or equal to the 7.5cgpa so your scholorshipis is not gooing in the next academic year,if you scored 7.49 then your scholorship is not going to the next academic year this is the very disappointed thing in the University.Behavour of the faculity is very stisfying to the students but atleast 1%faculity is notsatisfying to the student clearly.

The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
