Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of Bachelors of commerce hons course is very diversified as it covers all subject in different semesters. Like every semester there is three core subject and each from business management , accountacy , law like every semester there is one or two numerical subjects. And b.com hons course also specially covers mathematics and statistics. Some of the subject as far i remember covered are business law , company law, finacial accounting, principles of marketing, human resource management, cost accounting, business statistics, business mathematics, corporate accounting etc You can also choose Economics as a general elective throughout the course to gey minor degree is economics.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the first semester the fees is rupees 9100 and two separate semester examination fees which are under 2000 rupees and in the second year fees is raised to 1100 rupees and two separate examination fees. There is scolarship opportunities for the quota students. There is no campus employment opportunity as far as i know.
Campus Life
The college life I experienced was pretty good as college provide variety of societies and you can engage in them as per your interest. I have been part of commerce society and enactus which really have given me exposure. College is in sputh campus which provides you chance to interact with other college students.
Admission
The admission in the University of Delhi is undertaken through Common University entrance test (CUET). The b.com (hons) eligibility criteria is accountancy + any two subjects and english score. I have got 716/800 in cuet for this combination. The application form is available on cuet.samarth.in and its fees i paid was 1300 rupees. The timing of exams are 45 minutes for each subject examination.
Faculty
Some of the faculty is really good as they are well educated and have keen interest in teaching and offers great teaching and learning experience to students and conduct regular classes but some are not that interested in teaching though they have knowledge and experience but they don't conduct classes or just skip the class and don't even complete the syllabus and also not provide notes and electronics materials or pdf bit some other teacher really do provide that.
