Amity University Kolkata- Get the best review

I applied for Heritage, Adamas. I still choose to go for this cause of the exposure it would give to peruse my dreams outside Indian as well. The faculties are themselves trained in and out India. Heritage had a high cut off but Adamas was also an option. But Amity stood out for me considetig uts infrasctructre, the curriculum and also its location. I did speak with 2 of my seniors suggesting me to get into this and it being a good option. I have applied in total 3 colleges, out of which one is Amity and the other two are Parul and Galgotias and I got selected in both the colleges. I have not chosen Parul university because it was very far from my hometown and haven't chosen Galgotias because the environment was not good. But, in Amity, this college is close to my hometown and the environment is also good here. For admission in Amity, you have to fill their admission form that will cost you around Rs 1000 then student have to show them their 12th marksheet and then they will get selected on the merit basis and they can also get the scholarship if they lie in their eligibility criteria that I have mentioned earlier. Whenever people hear of the name "Amity University",they have a particular notion in mind that they like to adhere to. But Amity University,Kolkata is much more than that. Apart from the sprawling campus and great infrastructure,the faculty of the stream that I had chosen was worth taking note of. I was informed of this course here by my teachers in school. The course curriculum was prepared with a lot of thought,including software and courses tailored according to the modern day scenario. The only aspect that might have been a con here was that it was a relatively new course in this University. We were the 3rd batch here and the department here has come a long way since that. One of the best things about Amity is the scholarship they offer but you must have attained a min. of 85%( including all subjects' score and not any best of 4/5 scenario). Also,you get direct admission here if you meet the above mentioned criteria. If you have scored less than 85% at the +2 level,you have to go through an admission process which includes a written exam and an interview process,that spans across an entire day. For my course this University was appropriate and yes Kolkata is near to my hometown than Delhi, Pune or Bangalore. I read reviews about this college and there were positive comments about this college although Noida campus is much older than Kolkata campus so it would be great taking admission in Noida campus. Also Amity University Noida is the main campus. As per my course there were not much colleges in Kolkata and I don't want to go far. Since, now I am studying in this college I have seen professors giving their best to make us understand everything and even prepare us to work on different projects by guiding us and giving us assignment which influence us to explore different topics and learn more. The lab and library facilities are great here. And for fun and entertainment college conducts different functions and programs which encourages our creativity....Read More
