Likes

The placements are very good. The college has a placement record of 100% and an average package of 10 lpa
The campus is really good. Lots of green trees and plants it feels like youre inside a botanical garden
The system is not too hectic. You get a lot of free time to persue your hobbies, work onnyour other skills and all

Dislikes

The teachers might become a bit fizzy sometime and put too much pressure
The management is not good, they make sudden changes to schedules and timetables which can become problematic to students

The course curriculum is very much up to the date and has all the real time data and teachings. They have very good teachers who sort out the textbooks and materials themselves and some generate their own books which are published elsewhere

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for CET admission is around 1.2 lakh per year. The fees for COMEDK admission is 3 lakh per year. The manegement donation varies from branch to branch but the fees for management students of every branch is 3 lakhs(comedk fees). The SSP scholarship is valid for all Indian citizens, the Birla scholarship is also available. The college accepts student loans. The placement in this campus is very good. the college has a placement record of 100% and an average package of 10 lpa

Campus Life

The college has two fests namely Halcyon and Spandana. Haclyon is the summer fest of SIT. It includes events from different genres like literature, gaming, dance, music etc. where students can exhibit their talebt and skills. Spandana is the cultural fest of SIT. It is used to bring out cultural enthusiasm and love for Kannada in students which is really missing these days

Admission

There are no special entrance exams for this course, just the usual cet and comedk exams. Students can join through management as well. Reservation is applicabel through cet. It is different for different caste

Faculty

There are around 10 to 15 faculty members per each branch and one proctor is assigned for half of the class. They give importance and specific attention to each student and enhance their learning experience. The faculty here are very highly educated and some of them have degrees and work experience in top universiities in the world like IITs, MIT, Harvard, etc. The teachers are very approachable and are available at all times in case we need teaching or support

Placement Experience:

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here.
