- The teachers might become a bit fizzy sometime and put too much pressure
- The management is not good, they make sudden changes to schedules and timetables which can become problematic to students
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very much up to the date and has all the real time data and teachings. They have very good teachers who sort out the textbooks and materials themselves and some generate their own books which are published elsewhere
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for CET admission is around 1.2 lakh per year. The fees for COMEDK admission is 3 lakh per year. The manegement donation varies from branch to branch but the fees for management students of every branch is 3 lakhs(comedk fees). The SSP scholarship is valid for all Indian citizens, the Birla scholarship is also available. The college accepts student loans. Campus Life
The college has two fests namely Halcyon and Spandana. Haclyon is the summer fest of SIT. It includes events from different genres like literature, gaming, dance, music etc. where students can exhibit their talebt and skills. Spandana is the cultural fest of SIT. It is used to bring out cultural enthusiasm and love for Kannada in students which is really missing these days
Admission
There are no special entrance exams for this course, just the usual cet and comedk exams. Students can join through management as well. Reservation is applicabel through cet. It is different for different caste
Faculty
There are around 10 to 15 faculty members per each branch and one proctor is assigned for half of the class. They give importance and specific attention to each student and enhance their learning experience. The faculty here are very highly educated and some of them have degrees and work experience in top universiities in the world like IITs, MIT, Harvard, etc. The teachers are very approachable and are available at all times in case we need teaching or support
