The computer science and Engineering course in Heritage Institute of Technology is very good and well mentained. As it is the top branch of this college so the curriculum is very well mentained so that the package will rise.

In heritage institute of technology kolkata you will get a very good opportunities for internship in campus in third year. It may be paid or non paid but atleast 1 - 2 months. But opportunity is very good and nice.

For computer science and engineering student placement is good. Almost everyone get the placement offer on campus. But in case any one do not get campus placement the can apply off campus and as the college is one of the top colleges in kolkata you will get benefits for this.

Fees and Financial Aid

In heritage institute of technology fees is much high. And suddenly the fees have increased a lot. there is no scholarship from college but you are eligible for any kind of government scholarship or other private scholarships.

Campus Life

In heritage institute of technology kolkata campus is huge compare to IEM kolkata. so campus life is beautiful and nice. but the disadvantage is only the fest had not organized since 3 year. but overall campus is very good compare to other colleges in kolkata.

Admission

I came to Heritage institute of technology kolkata by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and my rank was 2237. I think the cutoff for Computer science engineering in this colleges is around 4000 in general rank.

Faculties of Heritage institute of Technolgy kolkata are very good and friendly. They helps all the students in every field. Like in lab and also in academics. All over 4 years those faculties will help you in every aspects of life.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The prosperous and happenning university - West Bengal University of animal and fisheries Sciences

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
