Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course curriculum pushes us to be the best in our field as it gives us very much practical knowledge about the course which is very beneficial for our future. To be honesty friends when i talk to them tells me that their college curriculum gives very less practical knowledge

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Our internship in the college is after the 4 years of nursing in which we would get full day postings in the mains wards such as SICU,MICU etc which gives us practical knowledge about major cases of the hospital

Fees and Financial Aid

The college tuition fee is 120,000 per year for four years And my hostel fee is 45000 per year. And additional costs for the whole 4 years would come around 30000-40000, which all the things would be include for example, the aprons and the tools

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is soo good i camt explain we have so many events every year and the clubs which would include dance club, fashion club, music club etc. the campus life is very beautiful we get to meet new people from different parts of india

Hostel Facilities

2

I have to say the hostel in our college is not so good. Its starts from the rooms which are small and the bathroom s and washrooms there are not so hygienic. The hostel warden is another problem she gets into our good anytime and asks us what are we doing

Admission

I applied online for the course and then i was called for an entrance exam which i gave and the next day i got to know if i was selected or not and the next day i was called for interview which i passed and then i joined the college after 2 months

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of st johns is very nice. We can interact with then anytime according to their free time after the class The HODs are not like scary professors. Theyre all good human beings. Even in the events the faculty helps the students not leaving them on their own. We could get more and more knowledge from then in a way that is not too formal. Most of the faculty are chill

Interview Experience

4

I was called for a written exam and its included my syllabus of class 11th and 12th which is a little tough but i passed that and then i was interviewed by the dean of the college and two college professors of high rank and after i passed that i got my admission in st johns

Other Applied Colleges

Dayanand Medical College and Hospital - [DMCH] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Nursing)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.
