Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am would rate the course curriculum as good and useful, but little bit heavy also. The syllabus followed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) is well planned and covers almost all important topics related to the course. One main reason I choose this course is because the curriculum is common and recognised everywhere, so it is helpful for future studies and career also.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities provided by the college are decent and useful. College helps students in getting internship mainly through affiliated hospitals, healthcare centres and training institutions related to the course. Most internships are more practical oriented and focus on skill

Placement Experience

3

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise few structure is180,000 first year,150,000 second year,100,000 third year, fourth year 130,000 as this is also includes tution fees, registration fees, admission fees , development fees, lab fees and others too. There is scholarship students with more than 70 percent marks.

Campus Life

4

My overall experience with campus life is okay and calm. Campus life is more focused on studies than enjoyment. Social interaction is there, but it depends on student circle. Students are friendly and supportive, so making friends is not very difficult. Seniors and juniors interaction is normal and respectful.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility in our college is decent and manageable. Hostel buildings are inside or near the campus, so it is convenient for students to attend classes on time. Rooms are shared and space is okay, not very big but sufficient. Basic facilities like bed, table and cupboard are provided.Food is good and the registration is easy as it can be taken together with admission.Hostel is very affordable and good too.

Admission

I didn't apply for any other colleges as I applied for this only and got admission the first time.I chose this because of the courses available and the ease of the courses and my love for this course.I didn't get any other colleges. The admission is pretty straightforward with requirements of 12th certificate,10th certificate,TC from higher secondary school.

Faculty

4

The faculty members in our college are mostly friendly and supportive. The faculty to student ratio is okay, not too high and not too low. In one class there are many students, but teachers still try to give attention if we approach them. Relationship between faculty and students is generally good. Most teachers are approachable after class hours and during practicals. If we go and ask doubts, they will explain, though sometimes they are busy. Teaching style depends on faculty. Some teachers explain concepts clearly and connect it with exam pattern, which is very helpful. A few faculties are very strict, but it helps in discipline and attendance. Overall behaviour of faculties is respectful and professional. There are some faculties who are very motivating and guide students during exams and internals. Some others are average in teaching and mostly depend on reading slides.

Night Life

4

Students usually unwind in simple ways. Some sit with friends and talk, some watch movies or series in rooms, and some go for short walks inside campus. Nearby tea shops and small eateries are the common hangout spots. Students mostly hang out there in evening time, not very late night. Group studies and chatting with friends is also common.
