It is a college in a village with the rate of a city.

As of experience from first year this curriculum has helps to guide our future decisions in this particular field . The exams conducted are worthless as even after writing the whole paper correct you cannot be sure of passing and the time given for each semester is not same . For eg- q st semester was of 6 months but 2nd sem started in March and ended in June. The syllabus given to students don't have a weightage which makes it hard for students to do a selective study of that subject if it is not important for him in the future.

The college gives projects to students but nothing have I heard about internship from any students . It's on you if you do it on your own from your own skills . But according to me it does not provide any internship.

The placement data of this college can be found on its site and if you work hard from your side the college will definitely bring in the companies and you will be placed depending on your skills. According to my knowledge the students becomes eligible for placement from 6 th semester this information may as be wrong so please refer to college once . College tries for almost 100 percent placements but with no skill even god can't help you so it comes to you individually how much have you grown. My plans after the degree is to get a job .

About fee structure it hikes as per the government's order and it's way too much for this type of college. The complete cost for 1st year was about 2,50,000 including hostel. There are many scholarships available for Bengal residents but those from other states have to rely on the ones provided by their state government. There is no such thing as stipends in this college and even if there is it has not come in my views.

Annually two fest are conducted technical and cultural fest. The technical fest Is a paid one where you can participate and win prizes and the other one i.e. the cultural fest is basically the one for enjoyment after the technical fest. Both of them are two days programs with enjoyment and fun if you can find any in them. Also local singers are invited one on each night of the cultural fest. These will be generally held in the month of December. The libraries here are equipped with good books but you cannot read it there as there is no decorum for it. Also sports is organised anuallyin thr month of January maybe. All the classes are not equipped with smart boards , labs are present with old computers with poor electricity supply . If you join karate club then only you can expect something out of it as others are not fruitful .

The rooms usually are of two types single seater and four seater. Both of them gives enough space for one to live while maintaining their privacy. The rooms are equipped with two fans ,four beds , four cupboards,a table and a chair. The meal is the worst if you are a vegetarian. Even if the menu is changed continuously only first day after the menu change it will be nice after that the food becomes inedible to eat . Even after complaining several times there is no genuine change in quality of food . The rice and cereals are also not cooked properly,the cereal is generally mixed with water and poor quality rice is cooked. Even for non vegetarians the gravy is like water and you will not feel like eating. Also if you are a pure vegetarian do not take hostel you will regret it. I have lost 10 kg due to it. You can always rent a PG as there are many in the area .

Only eligibility for this course is that you should be a science student till class 12 th. The application form,fees and application dates can be found on its official site . There is no entrance exam as such you can enter through WBJEE,JEE or without anything as such , i.e., through management quota. Everthing here needs improvement.

The faculty here does not care about the completion of syllabus or your academics ,all they are going to talk about is attendance. Sometimes even if they teach the syllabus when you solve the PYQ's with their level of teaching you cannot solve any of it.But very few of them are better at teaching. While teaching sometimes/ some teachers they change their mode of speaking to Bengali until you remind them to change it back to English ,in some cases they give the excuses that you have to live here for four years understand it. But the teachers here are easy to interact ,they are not so strict.
