The curriculum the college comes under the universe APJ ABDUL KALAM TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY. The exams are difficult on an average level. The curriculum focus on mechanical industry. The provide both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge as well.

The companies visiting are titan, Sutherland, Wipro etc. The highest package was 14Lpa and the average is 2.5Lpa.

The fees for the semester will be 45500. Vast number of scholarships are provided by the college, government and the University based on the students 12th marks , entrance exam ranks and many others criteria

The overall experience of the college was good. The college has IV, tech fest and vast number of programs. The college campus has an Excellent collection of books in the library. The college has NSS programs.

The mechanical engineering total number of 120 seats are available. The application forms and others details are available in the college. The entrance exams for this course are JEE and KEAM. Reservation based on caste are also provided by the College. The admission process is not much complicated. There will be a special admission desk at the time of admission

Faculty

The faculty members are well educated and most of them are PhD holders. The are enough amount of faculty members for teaching. The mentorship and their approach to the Students are really friendly and commentable. The teachers often interact with the students and provide all the support the can for the encouragement of students

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
