Likes

Teachers are very helpful and communication with them very much easy
College campus is amazing as it contains lawn, garden and basketball court
The classes are spacious and fully air-conditioned

Dislikes

The dean is not gentle as she never understands students perspective
They do not provide any kind of placement as you have be great in your place so as to attain a good position
They do not provide any kind of internships as you have to go and find out yourself

As IPU offers the course curriculum and syllabus there is nothing to do with the college but it has a very comprehensive approach in proportion with the course and has a very high relevance as I have seen the other colleges our university they do not provide such comprehensive syllabus

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the fees is little high but in accordance with the infrastructure and services I think it is worth it the main thing is that they also provide financial assistance like scholar ships which do provide very much help to the ones who are in need of the financial assistance. They not just only provide financial assistance but one can get up to 100% scholarship from the university and the bus passes for the male student also provided

Campus Life

There are many fest which take place in the college as there is Bandhan of BJMC there is initio of the BBA and many more the Diwali fest also held at the time of Diwali many games are played at that time ethnic days or celebrated and there is one or another activity is always happening in the college like films screening competitions etc

Admission

The invention process was very easy as there was an entrance test called CET which was a common entrance test which is compulsory the cutoff was also quite good as Vivekananda Institute of professional studies is a college which is not affordable by everyone so a good amount of rank is needed to get admission in the college

Faculty

The teachers are highly interactive as most of the teachers are doctorate some of them are just assistant professors but many of them do acquire a lot of experience in their field and teaching. Every teacher have a great approachability and interaction with the student there is always a one to one interaction in every class with the teachers

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 4th year to sit in placements. Famous companies like NDTV, News 24 , India today, ABVP,etc comes for placement. Highest package was 1200000 per annum and 300000 per annum is average package. Profiles offered are reporter,research executives, content creator, anchor, field reporter,etc I will go for anchoring after completing the degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.

Placement of our college is pretty good almost 80% students get good placement but at the same time its very important to know that you will get college placement at end of you masters as DSJ provides Five year integrated programme in journalism. Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
