- There are innumerable legal aid activities that goes on and on in our college.
- Our moot court society too is very active and provides good exposure by sending it's students to various places for competitions.
- We are provided Internships and placements within the city.
Dislikes
- Still placements are few as firstly because of such a huge batch size.
- Even though it's a prominent college, the area of college is congested.
Course Curriculum Overview
To get decent exposure and know the law, VIPS is probably the best option. BBA LLb of our college though is more glorified but in recent past both the department be it BA LLB or BBA LLB, both are provided similar opportunities. Exams and passing exams is always a challenge as GGSIPU is probably tougher than DU for sure.
Internships Opportunities
It's not the companies as litigation famous law firms don't come for intenrships. We have to apply for it ourselves and college also provides some connections though. DSK Legal and some other are there which provides us internships but without any stipend.
Placement Experience
It's law houses and prominent lawyers of Delhi who has direct mous with our college. So around 30% of the crowd is that who have PPO and around 30% is that who gets placements through campus. Around 5-6 lakhs is the median of placements for law department at our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
VIPS Delhi is one of the prominent college of Delhi offering various courses. The college is best known for law though and including all there are overall 5k law students studying here. The fees is also less as it is just 1.6 lakhs a year where most private colleges charges over 3-4 lakhs even in time 2 cities, our college charges just 1.6 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
VIPS is a modern day college and therefore we have all the modern day facilities at our college. Our college has large buildings and large playing area too. Facilities for law department like a huge seminar hall and event hall, play area for both boys and girls and also clean rest room is all that we have at our campus.
Admission
MAIMS I had confirmed admission from and then almost all the collegea of GGSIPU. My dream college to puruse law though was NLU Delhi but me being from general category and so few seats my AILET score was not so that I could get there and hence I took admission here.
Faculty
Top NLU prodigies are our faculties as most of them are from NLU Delhi. From IPR to MUSLIM Law, most of our faculties are master in that. Exams are as per GGSIPU and it is a tough university to crack. Our faculties though make sure that other colleges of GGSIPU never gets close to the kind of results that our college produces.
Night Life
Nearby our college is Dillihat Pitampura which is best for street food and window shopping. Besides that, a little far though but areas like Hauz Khas and CP are accessible easily through Metro and those are night life areas.
