I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way.
