I liked that my college in near my house and at a place where everything is available.
Lab facilities are best we enjoy performing experiments.

Dislikes

Internal politics played by our vice principal sir regarding the sudden increament in our fees.
Some of the faculties are not even eligible but still they are there teching wrong things.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are good on every aspect we can learn and be better engineers . Although some courses are extra but they are also important for our future purpose. Even in real life we can apply many things that are learnt by these courses

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 130550 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fee structure was good when we took admission it was all like 4.6 lakhs for the 4 year of graduation but then when we gave our first semester all of a sudden fee structure was changed and increament was seen in our fees .the new fees was 5.2 lakhs for 4 year course. We have students credit card facility as scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus is great all the greenery and nature are beautiful the gardens are filled with flowers. Sports aspects are good cultural aspects are good we enjoy and celebrate fests and freshers.clubs and social groups are fine one can workd with it.

Admission

We didn't gave any entrance as the admission was on the basis of what one has scored in wbjee . Through counciling our admission was completed . There was reservations form sc and st . They should be consistent for the exams as they did blunder mistake in our 2nd semester they didn't upload the marks or our answer sheets to our university portal .

Faculty

Almost all faculties are good they are eligible except some of the teachers like our computer teacher she doesn't even know what's the shortcut key of save or to open files but she was the incharge of teaching us c programming . Her techniques of teaching is worse.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester you are eligible for placements Tata consultancy services , Pwc, ICICI , Duesthe bank ,Wells Fargo etc no of offers for my batch are more than 300 highest package is 40 lpa and lowest package is 3.3 lpa avg is 7 lpa percentage of students placed is 70 my plan is to join a company which I got selected through campus placement

JGEC is good enough to choose over KGEC.

From 5th semester student can appear for placement. There are various recruters visited JGEC like - Akash and offered many students.Highest package was 64 LPA and average is 9 LPA. Almost 80 % student get placed.I would like to go with Masters.

Placement is more than 70%. The average offered salary is 4LPA. While the highest offered salary is 18 LPA. Many big companies like IBM, EY, and Deloitte have visited our campus. Our college placement cell is very supportive. They have provided a subscription of Edtech platforms to improve our technical skills. Also, students who did not clear on-campus placement rounds, placement cell helped them to find jobs through off-campus job notifications.
