Is doing BSc Mathematics from Allahabad University worth ?

As this university is known as IAS factory, the courses here are designed as similar with the UPSC syllabus. The mathematics syllabus of 3 years is same with the UPSC optional maths syllabus. The exams are held once in a year and you have quite good time for preparation and the difficulty level of exams are quite good so you have to study properly to pass out.

The University offers you courses in a very less fee. The fee of BSC mathematics course is about 12000 for the 3 year course which is quite affordable and very education and a degree from reputed university is given to you. Also scholarships are given to students which are provided from the state government and also by the university which is known as MCM scholarship. This campus is only study oriented there are no extra activities like fests.

There are no fests for students except national festivals. University has many big libraries and a very large Central library where your can access many books , newspapers and a digital library having many computers. The classrooms here are not so modern but are decent, the university is very old so the classrooms are old styled. The University also offers playground in which you can play many games , and university also organises many sports tournament in a year. There is not a good campus life of students here the environment of campus is bit study oriented.

The eligibility of the course is you should have passed your 12th class examination with science stream and having maths as a subject. In recent 2 years university has takes admissions from the cuet exam scorecard and then giving their cutoff for admissions. The number of faculties is good and there are many professors of each subject . The ratio of faculty to student is nearly about 1:40. The faculty members are very well qualified and experienced they give you better knowledge in less time and in this university all the faculty members are on time to their lecture halls. Their approach is to complete the syllabus on time along with giving better understanding to students.
