The course microbiology is so much different from other courses such that it has a vital position in the field of human health. We all deal with different varieties of diseases that are harmful and contaminating. So this field of study is important. So that I choose this course. Our college provide us with a better lab facilities such that we can work oru maximum and understand practical very well. Some more laboratorical equipments are also required for us. That has to be improved. And the practice of frequent exams have to be stopped and has to provide more practical hours.

College is providing us with a better intership opportunities like a better institute for our intership. As I am a microbiology student I have done intership on food Microbiology Techniques at Unibiosis Biotech Research Lab at kalamasery. It was a wonderful opportunity and we had utilised oru best over their. Now we are planning to do oru project on best institute in India.

There is placement assistance cell named PAC in oru College. They provide us with better job opportunities and services. The students are able to get placements in their final year of education. Many companies including Accenture, Zifo and many other banks like Federal Bank , HDFC Bank like many other field are included. Every year hundreds of students are placed. About 10% of the total students are placed according to their wishes. My plan is also to get a placement this year.

Fee structure of oru course is about 38000 per semester. But may other aided courses are providing free education for students. Total cost education including hostel fee is more than 2 lakhs for this course. Many scholarship are available for sc st students and only a few or total no scholarship are for general category students like us. Campus has a good placement cell for supporting students for better jobs. Many companies and banks are included in this drive and hundreds of students are placed at different fields per year. And that is great thing.

Oru campus is providing us with may programs and activities. College day department fest, onam, Christmas, Holi like these festivals are celebrated here. Many clubs are working here. The extra curricular activities like sports club arts club science club etc are taking place. They are providing us with a better facilities and a big central library of 4 floor is situated at oru campus.

Oru College is having two hostel for women's and 4 hostels for men as oru College is a boys college before. Oru hostel is situated near to college. We are having a fee of 5500 per month. Hostel is providing us with a decent menu and meal. They are providing us with rooms of 4 peoples 3 member or 2 member rooms. Registration process include around 1500 rs. The environment is quite good and it's calm to study over here.

Oru College is an autonomous College that is affiliated under MG University. So the application form and details for the courses can be seen in the college website. The eligibility of students is based on their marks obtained. And some got admission based on some other criterias like caste, disabilites,sports quota etc. Admission process are quite easy and they are providing good services.

The faculties of this college is of good character and they provide their maximum to cop us with students.They also assist students and provide them the better education and better lectures. We are free to ask them doubts because they all are so friendly. The staff as well are very good in behaviour and are so much helpful to us. The mangement provide better oppertunites for studying as well as extra curricular activities like cultural as well as sports. Every department coduct department day every year ane congratulate the students those who score good marks in each semester.
