Course Curriculum Overview

5

Since everybody knows that BDS curriculum is provided and regulated by DCI, so whatever i was taught i find it more than enough. Though our teachers put their extra efforts to give us extra knowledge that were never part of undergraduate course.

Internships Opportunities

5

Our college has its own hospital as others dental colleges. So it offers 1 year of rotational internship in all eight of it departments. It provides stipened of 30 thousands per month which sums upto 3 lakh 60 thousands a year.

Placement Experience

5

Our college has not offered any placements yet, we have placement cell in our University, which is planning to open their centre in our college too, maybe in next one or two years as informed by our university placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since complete fees for all four years approximate to 1 lakh and 30 thousands which is paid yearly. So, you will have to pay around 30 thousands a year. College don't provide any scholarship but you can opt for other state scholarships or central govt merit cum scholarships.

Campus Life

5

Since ours is a central university located in Delhi. I found this place very satisfying, with huge campus in the heart of Delhi. You have all the freedoms as well as safe and satisfying environment, number of canteens, reading halls, stadium ,theatre etc etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is best in class. One that i wanna clear is that girls can get hostels easily as their are sufficient hostels for girls, but for boys no. Of hostels are less compared to no. Of boys enrolled, so may be possible that every applicant can't get a hostel.

Admission

Admission to Faculty of dentistry Jamia Millia Islamia is solely based on NEET marks and through the NEET All India counseling process. So you don't have to apply for this college separately. You can select your colleges during NEET counseling itself.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is very high, at least 8 to 10 professors for each department. They are really helping and they are always ready to give their best efforts unlike other colleges where subjects are taught by SRs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is vast and extensive but it may feel that it lacks recent information and developments in dentistry as dentistry is fast and ever evolving. The course does prepare us for future academic pursuits but does need revision to make it more relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to do MBBS.My score in neet UG was 607 but the cut off was too high so I decided to go for BDS and I wanted to do it from the top college of India and it led me to choose MAIDS. BDS is a very challenging course but at the end it pays well. Bds not only involves study about dental anatomy/histology/pathology but we also get to study about general anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology etc. So overall the curriculum is quite interesting if you are already interested in medicine. We have three exams in first year, two internals and a professional exam. The exams are quite difficult
