The reality of JSPM's RSCOE

In this college the first year of college is under the department of engineering sciences and humanities so that every one can interact with the students of all branches. The CSE, IT, CSBS are having there core subjects from the first year of engineering which create the diffrence from the other colleges. While the remeaning branches have common subjects like mechanics, M1, M2, Chemistry, Physics and so on. The faculties are perfect for teaching there own subjects but expecting very few of them and I dont think so tat they will create huge difference so far.

There is no any internship offered by college till 4th year you have to find it out on your own. But you can reach the statups near you in college area like bhosari midc and there you will find the opportunities.

The placement are not that much offered but you can apply for off campus placement drives. The college offers placement from TCS, Capgeminie, Coegnizent, etc. The multi national companies like google, microsoft, amazon, etc dont visit the college but some students crack the jobs in such companies by going through off campus placement drive. also the college is highly reputated so that it will be easy for you to get the placement.

The Scholarships provided are all applicable if you belong to any backward class. the total fees last year was 1,12,000/-. this fees for OBC is 65,000/- if scholarship is applied for the candidate. while for SC/ ST student it is 4000/-. While for NT students it is 18,000/-. Also seats are available for TFWS students which allow the candidat eto pay 18,000/-. There is no othere expenses thant the course fee. The stationary for each semester will cost you around 700 - 1000 only depending on the number of subjects you are having.

The campus life is not that much entertained for big gatherings or party nights but still you can participate in clubs which offer you represent your college in other national level competitions. There are many clubs ranging from soft skills to coding skills too. The library is good but sometimes it is closed dur to exhibitions or other reasons. All types b+of books are available here, e books, archives everything is there in library but you require permissions for specific purpose. College dont have seperate ground for sports but there is a ground in campus. There are two canteens for meals and one food court for snack. The campus also include one jaywant auditorium. The campus is full of greenery and peaceful enviorment. You will also have a parking place for your vehicles and food court to have snacks which is worth it rather than canteen food

The hostel facility is worst. The dont have accesible wifi, no hot water in the morning as per there commitments. You cant use the high voltage appliances like heating kettle, induction, coil, etc. In the begining they give the hot water on time but as the time goes they show carelessness toward it. You cant even keep your doors open after 10 o'clock. The warden will act like as a king even he wont give the chance to explanation for any case he will directly call your parents. but on the other hand here you will get chance to increase your contacts and interact with the students of other branches. you will get you have enjoyment not in the hostel but with your group outside. The meal of canteen is also worst. I mean it is good enough but you will be not able to complete your hunger in that much food. 70 rs will offer you two curries three little chapatis and rice with daal and thats enough not more food without charges.

There are two ways to get into the college. the first one is through CAP rounds for this you have to give the exams like MHTCET or JEE mains if both are given then thats great. you should have rank under 4000 to get in to cs or IT while others vary according to demand of branches. The second way to get into college is by paying management fees which is very high which also vary as per demand of the branches in the market.

In this college there is very good management for the interactionof the students with the facukties. Every branch are having two divisions. each division is divided into three groups depending on the basis of the language they are allocated for communication subject (English, German, Japnese). Each group containing 20-25 students have seperate batch for practicles and each group is alloted with the seperate one faculty which is called as Guardian Family Member (GFM). GFM act as middle man between specific group of students and the higher authorities. The GFM will take care of every issue you are facing whether it is your personal problem or social he will be there for you. The GFM also track your attendence your submissions and your marks to get your acheivement report.
