- It was better than I expected. The campus life especially is good. The faculty's expertise,teaching methods and mentorship quality are at extraordinary level.I also made many friends from various parts of the country. Overall I loved this college.
Dislikes
- One of the few dislikes is the heavy student politics taking place in the college.
- Campus area is not as big. It would have been better to have a bigger area.
- Classrooms especially in the old building are not good and it needs enhancement.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is the master of all social sciences i.e political science. This subject has its relevance in everyday lives of ours. It showcases the importance of the political system of the country and the world.Some improvements like more practical and realistic approach can be taken to make it more inclusive. Examinations frequency should be increased to keep up the practice of the students.
Internships Opportunities
Well I'm a student of Political Science, so we don't have much internship opportunities apart from the University sanctioned internships occuring during the vacations. Most of the internships opportunities are offered for the students of commerce background like bcom etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite average and affordable for all. For honours graduating students it costs around ?15000 per year depending on the course. There are also various scholarships or financial aid for economically weaker students.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite good than I expected. There are various social clubs and societies for drama, quizzing, photography etc.The college also conducts its annual festivities and programs. All these activities have a positive impact on a student's life.
Admission
For admission, one has to take CUET exams. Then one has to apply for the CSAS counselling on DU website online for the course selection and college preference.Students from Science, Commerce and Arts stream are eligible for the course. As it's a government college, reservation is available.Some improvements like counseling in both online and offline mode for better judgement can be rolled out.
Faculty
The faculty here are all highly qualified and skilled. Most of them studied from reputed universities and colleges like DU and JNU. The faculty to student ratio is average and good. Likewise their teaching methods are also quite good.
