Likes

Infrastructure at VIPs is pretty good and well maintained as compared to other colleges. I visited bvp and mait too but their infrastructure was no where near what VIPs had.
Ever classroom, labs liberary at VIPs is well air conditioned
There is a dedicated are for students to park their vehicles just outside the college premises neither it be a car or a bike

Dislikes

The faculty their is not really helpfull and pretty egoistic, there are exceptions to this but mostly the facilities have a bucket full of ego even when they are really knowledgeable
VIPs does not give any internal marks. The average internal marks in my class was approximately 15/40

Course Curriculum Overview

It's just been an year since I'm at VIPs and to be very honest I have no where nearly learnt anything usefull to my course or anything that can help me build a career in artificial intelligence, I personally have joined another institution to learn about artificial intelligence. All VIPs has taught me till now is physics chemistry maths and a bit of human values along with some communication skills which was the most helpfull subject amongst them all

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 165000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid approximately 165000 for the first year at VIPs which is pretty high according to me, yet the have great infrastructure so it seemed reasonable. According to my knowledge VIPs does not offer any schollerships, and according to my seniors the placements also not gonna go well

Campus Life

VIPs organised some fests around December which was pretty amazing to be honest. But as per the college societies there are a very few in which btech students can enroll. The facilities their said and I quote,"no societies for btech students"

Admission

To get my admission in VIPs I gave jee mains and got selected based on merit, the cutoff for my batch was around 200000 rank of jee mains. After I got the allotment letter from ggsipu University the admission process was pretty simple I just had to submit my document physically in the college

Faculty

The facilities at VIPs are really well qualified and knowledge able but they do not very approachable and helpfull. There are some exceptions to this ofcourse but on the majority, the facilities at the college have a big of an ego problem which harms the students. They also do not give you internal marks even after submitting all the long assignments they give you

The placements of my college are really okayish. There has been a stark fall in the standards of our college placements. Every year, lesser and lesser companies are coming to offer placements. Moreover, the placement cell tries to exploit the desparation of the students.

Delhi Technological University: All that glitters is not always gold

Placement Experience:

DTU is very well known for its placements and internships. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian visit it several year with high CTCs. Students are eligible for oncampus interns from 3rd year onwards.The pfficial stats arent out so the total number of companies isnt sure. The highest last year was 85lpa offered by Atlassian while companies like Google offered 65lpa. They mostly recruited for SDE1 and the percentage is very fluctuating as it depends on the branch. Tech branches have really good numbers like 75-85% while for core engineering branches it is about 60%. I plan to work and gain some experience as SDE in a reputed company then MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

DTU - our soul , heart love and the pain of it

Placement Experience:

placements are rather nice ,specially of tech branch is quite nice , from what semester we are eligible , most students are from 5th semester eligible for internship and from 7th for actual placements , lot of companies do visit : sometimes bain ,mckinsey ,samsung,xiamo. otherwise local companies tcs , tata etc . lot of startup are coming nowdays which are offering lot of things. highest package was 80 lpa around by samsusng as far i remember for ai, ml enginner . percentage of student getting placed for my branch is around 70%. my plans would be to get internship in 5th semester and then make it a ppo

360 Degree Review Of DTU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is a lot outdated, in the first semester you learn things which do not even have practical applications in today's real world but that is very much the same for all colleges but i did see some interesting courses for ournext semesters and some of the professors go out of their way to teach you interesting things so that's good. I believe the curriculum should be revised as soon as possible.

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Honest college review by a fresher

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon,infosys,zepto,paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

I submitted applications to Amity University, Lloyd Law College and Galgotias University. Although I got accepted to Amity and Lloyd, I decided to attend Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies - Technical Campus (VIPS-TC) because it provided best facilities, helpful teachers and was located close by. One of the greatest campus facilities at VIPS includes well-kept buildings, cutting-edge classrooms, classrooms turned into halls for moot court, libraries and AC-equipped areas. Because I was just waitlisted at government colleges due to different cutoffs, I decided on VIPS The process for being admitted at VIPS-TC is easy. Boys and Girls Basketball at Law and Business accepts CLAT scores. Each year, the cutoff is set and it continues to be tough.
