Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is well balanced and easy to manage if if you study in a scheduled manner. It also has subjects delving deeper into a lot of fields that could expand your opportunities and prospects in further academic persuits . Some of the course curriculum is not well managed since they don't go into detail for certain topics that could be considered quite important in the field . The teaching methods should involve more real life examples and applications with more focus on experimentation rather than just reading from a book . The frequency of the exams is alright but the timing could certainly be improved upon since there is a huge gap between every exam , which is not actually required.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is affordable but there is a certain increase every year which should be taken into account . The rate of such hikes is not very high since its only increased once a year . The cost of education for studying in this university is not very high . The only financial problems you could face is the living expenditure since the uni does not provide a lot of hostels. There's a lot of scholarships available for students who cannot afford the fees of the college . There are also financial aids given to students of lower income class. There are also certain scholarships available for top students of each batch in all courses. The campus does not have many employment opportunities. Although you can take roles available in NSS but they're basically volunteering so you would not be earning any stipends but these jobs teach you a lot about responsibilities and management.

Campus Life

3

Our college has an annual fest called laharein which is a 3 day fest and involves a lot of activities like fashion shows , dance competitions and singing competitions. There is also a DJ night . Students from different colleges the university can participate in all these fests. The facilities provided within the classrooms aren't. Fans are installed in every classroom and there is enough ventilation due to the windows but there are no ACs provided so it can get quite hot in the summers. The sports offered by our college is volleyball. Extra curricular activities mainly include clubs of different subjects that you can choose from. There are also a lot of societies of different departments and enactis . These can enrich a student's personality and help in personal and mental growth. You get to learn a lot about different things and get a lot of exposure due to the new perspectives provided.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is that you must be from the science (PCMB or PCB) stream in 12th grade. You also have to give the CUET exams for admission in the universities . The subjects required would be English , Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The cutoff for unreserved (UR) students is around 320/600. The exams could fall on the same day or on different days . The exams are computer based and their difficulty level is easy to medium with a few hard questions . The portal of the university crashes a lot which resulted in a few students not being able to fill their forms or upgrade their colleges . This issue should be fixed by the University immediately . A lot of details about the admission process are not very clear on the portal which confuses the students a lot so, better explanation in the portal could help the students.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio in our batch is actually not quite good since, there are a lot more students as compared to the faculty. A professor cannot focus on every student since, there are too many students. The faculty is well educated and teach well. They explain the concepts quite thouroughly and in detail . They also pay special attention during lab experiments and may conduct an experiment a few more times if students faced a problem during the first time. Interacting with the faculty members is pretty easy since they are easily approachable and available if you have doubts or want some more clear guidance on a certain topic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
