Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because of the need of this course in today era data plays a major role in every one life . So after analysing things and my future I choose this course because bsc simple like in chemistry and any other branch does not give you that scope which gives by data analytics course that why I choose this course . According to me some teaching methods should be change like some teacher should focus on some points of students also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently my first year is over and my second year is starting in few days . I give you brief review about fees structure at my admission year 2023 I paid around 25000 in my first semester and in second semester I paid 24000 which In total gives 49000 for first year and in second year i think my fees raise around 4 to 5 thousand .

Campus Life

3

My campus life is average not so good not so bad . Because I found my good friends there if I did not find them I drop this college . There is not so many functions or festivals happen . Gine chune festivals hai inke paas ek amogh or ek or hai bekar se . Library provide you books but here is not so much books there .

Admission

You should pass class 12 th with mathematics as main subject it does not depend you are in any branch but you should have maths I am from science pcmb background. So this is the eligibility and for admission process you should look for dseu.ac.in website where admission all related queries have been solved admission start from August through counselling there is. 3 round of counseling

Faculty

There is one teacher name Nidhi grover raheja . Guys literally one of the best teacher . They teacher us data collection and statistics subject in first semester she teach very well and in second semester she also teach us visualisation and story telling with data. This subject includes tableau use and other data visualization tools also . She also write python programming book which is also good overall because of nidhi mam around 50 students do not drop college because of them only . After that I personally did not like any teachers this depend on our personal opinion some teachers did not even come to classroom to teach us they held online meeting to cover our syllabus

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
