Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows 2019 curriculum and syllabus so it is a little bit not up to date. This year the college has become autonomous so this might change and new syllabus might be implemented from this year onwards.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Internships Opportunities

Under the new regulation students can undergo a 6 months internship in the fourth year. Students will have to find the internship by themselves and the college might help in finding an internship. Doing an internship is not compulsory till now. The teachers and the faculty encourage us to do internships.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from the third year onwards. More students get placed by the end of the fourth year .There are many companies like TCS ,Infosys etc that visited our college . Average package of 4 lakh and highest package of 20 lakh.Almost 80 percent of students of our college is getting placed .I plan to pursue my master after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is around 10000 per year. There are there is scholarship available that can be avail from the central government and state governments for those who have reservation. There are many clubs in the college that you can take part in.

Campus Life

There are two events conducted, one technical event takshak and a cultural event Sanskriti conducted in the odd and even semesters respectively. There are different clubs and student groups in our college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is just satisfactory. The food provided is somewhat good. There is both vegetarian and non vegetarian options provided. There is no attached toilet in any of the rooms. It is a little difficult to get admission in the college hostel.

Admission

In order to get selected to this course you have to write the keam exam and I got a rank of about 2300 to get admitted to this course . The exams are conducted timely.There are two series exams and one end semester exams conductor every 3-4 months. The exams can be cracked easily with preparation and doing previous year question papers

There is 1 faculty advisor for each class of 60 students. In my class there are 60 students and another 6 who came through lateral entry .The teachers are approachable. The college provides a good learning environment. The teachers are a little strict.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

One of the best engineering colleges in Kerala

I applied to Government Engineering College - Thrissur, College of Engineering - Trivandrum, Thangal Kunju Musliar College - Kollam. MACE FOR ME

I had applied for same courses on Muthoot institute of science and technology, as well as Fisat angamaly etc. but I realised that more of government aided college like MACE would give me more exposure in terms of my professional career than studying in self financing colleges. Also I got both of my allotments in MACE. So I choose not to change my decision. Also the placement records were quite impressive than other colleges. Admission process of my college is quite simple.
