Remarks

I would say it was an average college at that time and management was not putting that much effort to provide the facilities etc. May be the state is better now.

Entrance Preview

CET, score was 2100. Opted my college due to following factor:1. Was getting CSE with this score2. Reputation was genuine3. Nearby home town

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum was as per University Standard. Covered general science, mathematics, ED in first year and then Computer science specific next year onwards.

Internships Opportunities

There was no college internship experience for me during my engineering. So no meaning of the general stipend Offered. But I think that was the general trend in all the similar colleges.

Placement Experience

1

No Job opportunities at that time from College. I could remember only one Call center company came but I don't remember if some one was selected.

College Events

2.5

Once Tech. Fest was held in my college and we were among the volunteers. I participated in couple of college level cultural festivals and in a cultural team who participated in other college's events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was not that good. Some combination of normal and paid fees. And college was also offering some NRI or Management quota fees.At that time fee looks more as compared to facilities in the college

Fees and Financial Aid

No any good scholarship / loan facility was offered by my college that I know of and hence not availed ;)

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life was fun as we had a great friend circle. Labs were constructed newly in my 3rd year and those were nice. But there was no such culture of having debates etc. Few support activities were there but not to great extent.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

It might be my personal thinking, but I didn't like hostel facilities and hence decided to stay outside. small rooms for 2/3 students in a room. Also, mess was not that great. We used to have food outside.

Alumni/Alumna

I have contact with students in my batch. Those were from both my branch or different branches. Also, few contacts with senior batches. I have contact with couple of teachers.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was according to University norms. Two semesters in a year. 3 sessional and one final exam in every semester. One needs to pass in 2 of 3 sessionals.

Faculty

3

I won't say the college faculty was very great but they were quite good. Few teachers were very good. Remaining were either recently passed out engineering students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
