Know everything about NIT Arunachal Pradesh

The course and curriculum is same for all nits. All nits follow certain curriculum, with few modifications and I guess it's the traditional pattern . But the curriculum changed for our juniors and yes I guess it's better now . It's according today's needs of subjects.

College mostly provides reasearch internship opportunities. Very few companies come for internship opportunities. Overall for internship you would have to try off campus on your own through LinkedIn , wellfound and other platforms.

From 7th semester, we are eligible for placements. I am from cse branch and most students of CSE get placed with a decent package. Let's see what happens with my batch as my batch has the most students as compared to other batches. Last year the placements were not so good due to recession. Other branches like mechanical, ece, civil too get companies. I don't know about electrical engineering. But we get good number of opportunities for cse.

As I am from gen category .h fess is 77k per semester, whose income is below 5lpa , their fee is 33k per semester and the ones with income less than 1lpa there fee is 11k per semester. Plus there is scholarships for sc/st/obc people.

Tech fest of NIT Arunachal is named Addovedi. Cultural fest of NIT Arunachal Pradesh is Atulyam. We have few active clubs like photography club, coding club, music club,dance club, and there are many more like cinema club, books club, literary club . I am the vice president of photography club and thus I would be the best to answer this. Handling clubs is in hands of students so if students are active then the club would function properly or else there we nothing like club. Plus we celebrate local festivals in every few days like nyokum and other Arunachali festivals too.

No day scholars are allowed . We have good condition hostels with wifi and lan cables for internet and mess for food. One hostel has a shop . A gym and tv room is in every hostel . Girls hostel is well maintained and clean.

Well I got admission through jossa counciling . It's just like any other nit, we get the college according to our jee rank. There is obvious reservation set by government, plus state quota for Arunachal students. For other state students like me only jossa or csab is the way to get a seat in this college.

Faculties are good and helpful, ofcourse not all , but ya someone or the other would help you plus they are reachable and few are very friendly and helping too . The kind of education they give in class is same as any other nit.
