Opinions about CMRIT

The college is pretty good in the nearby location and has good facility and infrastructure.

Nearby and good college in the surrounding of my place Marathahalli which has good infrastructure and good faculties and curriculum and good facilities for projects and research work and a good sports arena including indoor basketball stadium and indoor table tennis table and also football ground.

The syllabus is framed according to the rules and regulations set by VISVESHVARAYA technology University Belagavi. It also follows the rules of AICTE Delhi. There are various courses offered such as Mechanical engineering, Electronics engineering, Computer science engineering etc.

The internship was not provided by the college but some of the faculties help the students to find an internship in the industries.

The placement activities start during the end of the third year where in which they give training for the aptitude and other interview related prospects. There so many companies visiting the college like TCS, IBM, LTI, Elucian, Capgemini etc. These companies recruit students.

The college conducts so many cultural, sports, literary activities during the course of the semester. The college also conducts the annual fest which is known as CULTURA in the month of March every year and celebrates the Kannada rajyotsava in the month of November.

The fee structure is based on rules set by VISVESHVARAYA technology University and AICTE Delhi which is around 36500 RS plus 25000RS when I joined the college in 2014, now the fees might have increased but not sure of it. The fee structure is feasible in the nearby location of the college.

The college provides a scholarship for poor and talented students annually for every branch of engineering.

The campus looks very beautiful and is located in the heart of Bangalore near the ITPL. The campus is constructed using new technologies and with a good look and attractions and has a very good indoor basketball stadium and table tennis table and a football ground.

As my home was nearby to my home I don't know properly about the hostel facility and food. As I have heard from my friends the hostel facility is worth paying and it provides good and healthy food. The food from the canteen had a variety of types like CCD north Indian south Indian and chats.

The college has a WhatsApp group for alumni and the college arrange meeting regularly of the alumni.

There is three internals which is conducted in the three months, having a gap of one month between two internals. The average marks are calculated for maximum marks obtained from any of the two internals. Lab internals is conducted once after third internal and final exam is held after this.

Got the admission through Karnataka CET exam which is the common entrance test for most of the engineering colleges in Karnataka. I got the seat in the first merit list of the exam and my father instantly asked me to join and did my admission to the college and joined.

The faculties are well educated and we'll be trained and has a good knowledge about the course of education and has a master degree and Ph.D. in their respective areas which helps us to learn about the topics which are unknown and we research about it and do projects.
