Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for electrical engineer because this college have some really great faculties and good laboratory. The only problem with the labs are they got a little bit outdated, but that's not the deal breaker. Our 4 years course have 8 semester , one semester in each 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
No internship were provided by the college, although it provided a 1month vocational training under a reputed government organisation. We have also done various project work under the guidance of the faculties.
Placement Experience
The placement department is quite a deal breaker as it does not offer great campus placement. Sometimes it was a very bad exeprience. Although the faculties help with the off campus placement if possible.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was a bit upset with the fees structure as it was not fixed for everyone. My total fees for the course was 2 lakh 70 thousand. It was great because the college is a semi government college. It provided the government scholarship to the eligible students.
Campus Life
It arranges cultural fest every year during mid year. It was a great experience as students can work together with themselves no matter what department they have choosen. It also organises sports day every winter
Admission
The eligibility criteria of the college is either JEE/WBJEE or marks of 12th standard. I got my admission through the rank of WBJEE, which was a good option. Every semester included 4 Cumulative Assessment and 1 final semester.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio was not sufficient in every aspects, sometimes we can't even choose some subjects due to unavailability of faculties. But the present faculties that we got are great. They all are highly qualified and they know how to deal with a student's problem. We can interact with them whenever they are present in colleges , even we can call them whenever required.
