The first Engineering College in Kerala,CET

The college is under the APJAKTU.The syllabus is very good.They have enough theory and practical courses.They gave one year seperately for project.During initial days,They didn't provide the gap for internship.but,now there is 1.5 months leave for internships and students can take whole semester for internship without break of study.

The companies like Texas, Daimler, Visteon, Tismo etc. provide internship opportunities in our college.The roles are always SDE,Graduate Engineer Trainee etc. Stipend varies from 15,000. to 60,000.The most of students have done their internship in final year.

From S4,We can get the internship offers through placement cell.Full fledge placement season is starting from S6 .The highest package is 34 lpa in this year(Texas Instrumentation) .There is an average package of 5 lpa in our college.I got the placement in Tata Consultancy Service.

The fees is very low compared to NITs,IITs.it costs around only approx 4000 rs only for one semester.Hostel fees is also very cheap.The living expense in TVM is also cheaper than other cities in the country.But,There is several scholarships which we can avail.Some of them are provided by State,Central govts and college alumni itself.

Life is very good in our campus.There is numerous cultural and tech fests in our college.We can be the part of fests and we can improve our technical and management skills.There is several technical and hobby clubs are running in our college.

The KEAM (Kerala entrance for engineering and Medicine) is the only way to get the admission.if you can achieve below 2000 rank,you will get the admission in core branches.you need below 500 rank for computer science.There is much amount reservation seats

Most of our faculties are the CET alumni itself.All are well educated and most of them had PhD or pursuing that.They had very good industry experience.They are very helpful for academic and non academic activities.They are very good teachers (some of them are not.).
