Campus is full of Greenary.Experienced Faculty.Of course some faculty is not good. It happens with other clg also.
No ragging, hostel blocks are seperate for each year students.
Good PLACEMENTS. With good companies.Hostel facility is available.

Dislikes

Very Some faculties are too bad, Doesn't teach properly.
Hostel food is worst, no laundry.mess is not upto the mark

They follow the standard vtu curriculum. There are some unnecessary subjects that needed to removed. I feel useless. There will 2 internal exams. With one end sem exam. Paper difficulty is easy if you study, otherwise a bit difficult.

Internship are available but i don't know as i m 1st year There are companies like around 70 which visits collage for placements. In those companies if u get internship, if they liked your work, you may get direct job after internship

Placement Experience

Placement was decreased this year(2024) , i don't the reasons. The average package last year was 900000. Now it was decreased to 800000. The offers also decreased. 10lpa offers was around 100+ Last it year it was around 200+

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee depends on the admission process in which you came through, if you are through comedk your fee will be 264000 to 280000. If you are through kcet your fee would be 100000Rs. If you have reservation you get scholarship.

Campus Life

There will be 2 main event in the year One is in summer - Halcyon Other is on November - spandana(cultural fest) Both events are worst. It is very useless. Regular clubs are there here. Like 10clubs will be there.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 blocks One is for 1st year, one is for 2nd and 3rd years One is for final year The fee is around 80000 The food is worst There is no dhobi Poor quality food is provided. Menu is mix of North and South style

Admission

I came through comedk entrance test. The cut off(2023)was around 10050 for aiml course. For CSE it is around 7500 For ise it was around 10500 For aids it was around 10500 For ECE it was around 12000 Comedk doesn't have any reservation quota.

The faculty-to-student ratio Depends on course u take. In general it would of 1:70 ratio. The faculty's credentials are experienced like PhD. Approach depends on teacher. Teaching pace also depends on teacher.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here.
