after jee I applied to many colleges , such as - PEC , NIT durgapur , IIEST Shibpur , IISER Mohali , IISER Bhopal , NIT Jamshedpur , NIT Patna , NIT Jalandhar , Jadavpur University etc . At last I got PEC in the councelling . I did not choose PEC , the CSAB council only gave this seat . Hence I did not reject any other colleges . Among all the colleges I applied , except IITs and top NITs and JU , PEC was the best college . That's why i choose it . No other reason . I couldn't get into IIT cuz I failed JEE ADV . So I eventually ended up here with my JEE Mains rank . Admission process - Through josaa , csab , dasa . Cutoff varies a lot . for CSE the last rank might be 25k in CSAB .
