Likes

college offers lots of extra curricular activities
Its having a green environment,which makes u feel different from the cities
there is no ragging and it is a well disciplined college

Dislikes

There is no proper faculty for cse department
teacher have least knowledge in coding ,and never teach anything apart from pdfs
teachers of sit have too much attitude and complainnts of students are never resolved

Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason i choose AIML is that it had tag CSE with AIML ,i am still in my 2nd sem and our batch is the 2nd batch of AIML so no one has a proper idea about the course and frequency of exams are like once in 2 months

i am sitt in my 1st year so i really dont know related to internships available but considireng the college it might offer students a decent internship ,as per the placements its quite decent and u get only one internship via college

you are eligible for placements from 3rd year and ur sgpa should be above 8 ,oracle ,tcs etc companies have visited ,highest package was aroung 45 lakhs and average package is around 6lakhs ,college says 100% placemt rate

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee via management is less compared to other top colleges .and the hike may be around 10% a year or two and Tution fee via KEA is totally depended on Karnataka government,there are no scholarship available in college

there are lots of events organised like hackathonand many more coding competitions ,many of lot of books available in library,many lot of clubs available to eplore and many fest ,we have good labs and equipments for research

admission process was quite simple no rocket science ,just submit the documents and fee recipt ,you are free to go SIT has official website to go through fee structure Reservations are available via KEA

Faculty

faculty to student ratio may vary from 1:20 to 1:60,learning experience other than cse is quite interesting we cant interact with teachers more often bcz everyone has a busy schedule from 8 to 5,and faculty is very strict related to attendance

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Great coure , great college , better life

Likes

Library is well furnished with lots and lots of book.there is well furnished chairs and table like compartments where students can completely isolate himself and study. There are thousands of books in library
Study room is provided at the top floor of the institute. It is really clean and there are separate room like compartments where students can study well. They can even discuss in group if they want
We have a cafe inside our institute. Here we can have tea and coffee to relieve ourselves

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here.
