Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Civil Engineering is the mother of engineering, things we got to know in our first class itself. Since we can feel out courses and curricula in our practical day-to-day life, so it's very beneficial for us as a civil engineer. Moreover, we are blessed with government jobs.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship opportunities are decent this year since the recession is going on, but as per 23 batches and their previous batches it was very good, and most of them we interned in big MNCs in the starting of 3rd year itself. Companies like P&G, Sprinkler, Mathwork, TVS, Honeycomb HPCL, BPCL, etc. come to our campus, which provides internships in technical, management, and core fields.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement ar good. When I start with of Batch' 23 it was very good, but due to recession happening in the industries placements have fell down in terms of CTC and count both. Count is not too much effected but there is huhe impact on CTC.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are proper scholarships provided to financially sick students and college is very supportive of these things, also there is less amount of fee as per the income range of the family. But proper valid documents are required for it. Placement and internship opportunities are provided from starting of 3rd year of BTech.

Campus Life

4.5

Clubs and extracurricular things are very active on campus, and I am very much involved in all these things. Ragam a cultural fest and Tathva as technical fest are celebrated every year, although there is no prow show in these now, but we still enjoy them. The library is very very good, and I think NITC has the biggest digital library in India. Sports activities are good but still, I think college needs to focus in the field of sports. Moreover, there is a student body SAC that helps students raise their voices, and that's all about our beautiful natural campus.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are decent but yes college is improvising new things every year, and we all are hoping for something good and new this time. There are 2 Boys hostel and ladies hostel for first years. Then 2nd and 3rd-year students are sent to newly built Mega hostels and Mega ladies hostel, which are good in terms of modern infrastructure, and improving in terms of facilities. 4th are provided single rooms and shifted to C, D, E, F, PG1 and MLH for girls.

Admission

The admission process is very simple, the guy has to appear in the JEE Mains examination, and after Jossa and CSAB counseling, he or she gets the seat according to his rank in JEE Mains. The process is very fair and simple, i.e., study hard to get the seat.

Faculty

4.5

College is very strict in the case of academics, so from starting they divide the branch in four batches so that students and facilities have very good interaction. Facilities are well-educated and experienced too.

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
