Getting into YCCE

Subjects and courses like Analog circuits, electronic devices and circuits, VLSI, and antenna designing are some of the courses which is influenced me to opt for this stream. The syllabus is designed according to the industry norms. A committee is formed to review and set the course structure. Exams are conducted every 1.5 months. 2 MSEs are conducted and then after MSE 2 a preparation leave for 1 week is provided after which the ESE is conducted.

Students are allowed to appear for an internship in the 8th semester. No other academic studies are needed to be done in the 8th semester. Many companies visit the college with internships as well. Along with internship students are given a major project for which a college faculty is alloted as a mentor or project guide.

All the eligible students are allowed to appear for campus recruitment in the 7th semester. Some of the conditions for appearing are that the student should not have any live backlog and the average CGPA should be above 6.75. Various companies like Accenture, Zoho, Capgemini, Wipro, JP Morgan, Amazon, TCS, P360, and many more visit campus recruitment. the highest package was given by Amazon of 24 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA and the minimum is 3.5 LPA. Almost 80 to 85 % of students are placed every year. While the others opt for off-campus or are mostly doing higher studies.

The per year year fees that I have to pay is 87,035 being an OBC-categorized student. Various scholarships are provided by the government of Maharashtra as per your category. I have to spend almost rupees 5000 per month for rent and other amenities. So the total per year cost is approximately rupees 1,40,000 to 1,50,000. Campus recruitments are available in the 4th year to all the eligible students. In the 8th semester, various stipend-based internship opportunities are also provided.

The campus experience is very great. Many technical and annual fests are organized every year like Yash, Icon, Compufest, and more by various departments. All the students are provided access to the library which contains over more the 9000 books. All the classrooms are provided with projectors and computer systems.

Anyone can opt for YCCE college through JEE mains and MHTCET while filling out the preference list for colleges after your mains and cet results. You are alloted to the college as per your score and cut-off for a particular stream. Once you freeze your seat in the allotted college in this case which is YCCE. You need to visit the college on specified dates with all your documents. The admission process is simple your documents are verified then the original documents are kept and you are asked to fill in the fees and the admission process is finished. You can later collect your original documents after 1st year.

Faculty members are very approachable and helpful and they always encourage students to ask more questions and to ask their doubts. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 to 15 or maybe 1 to 10. The methodology and teaching techniques are very easy to understand and simple. Sometimes it depends on the subjects as well but teachers are very helpful and students are always welcome to ask doubts.
