All About M.tevh at VNIT

Course curriculum mostly decided by our faculty member and many MNCs professional give their views as per industry. So finally curriculum updates after few years as per the demand of the industry and the sectors.

Internships can be done for maximum of 6 months. Many of MNCs visit campus for providing internships. Stipend varies from 15000 to 50000 per month. One have to take permission from his guide for doing internships.

Till now the college have a decent placement record of 100% all the student get placed with maximum core package of 10.5LPA and average package of 6LPA. If one not get placement through college then many faculties have links in different MNCs and with the name of VNIT anyone easily recruits.

Course fees is nominal same as of different NITs, it's 41000 per semester. Hostel and mess fees hi soo high about 50000 per semester. Hostel rooms are seperate single stay and common washroom. One can go to stay outside also.

Overall I am very happy with the branch academics and campus it's all lust green and the placement are decent. The college has all the factors that student wants. Its NIRF is in top 50 and overall academic is very good as per industry parameters.

Hostel is good but hostel price is too high. It's 50000 including mess charge. For m.tech student hostel provided is single room and BH-5 (Abdul Kalam Hostel) is specific to masters students. Rooms are goos in dimensions and common toilet and wash area is provided for a respective block.

Admission process is on the basis of GATE score. CCMT counselling is done and through that all the students get enrolled. Last student got admission with gate score of 352 (General Category). If seats get vacent they starts college admission through their own examination same as of GATE syllabus. This happened after the CCMT counselling.

All the faculty members are highly qualified (PHD) and all of them have experience more than 15+ years. Professors themselves are source of knowledge, in many terms they can challenge books also. Most of them knows advance software of upcoming generation.
