Likes

Overall i would give 7 out of 10. The outside college life is what students in KJC usually focus on.

Dislikes

The main improvement needed areas are the sports department and recruitment of office bearers in the same.
College urges you to cut your beard and hair which I personally felt like a downgrade.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum should include more courses for the students to be corporate ready. The department i was in mainly focused on studies. The exams are out of sixty with a writing time of two and half hours for 4 credit subjects and forty five with a writing time of 2 hours for three credit subjects.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are accesible to students from 5th semester and a lot of companies have visited. The offer ranges from 300000 to 650000. Only a minimal percentage of students get through the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for the same courses i enrolled in has drastically changed in the last 3 years. There are scholarships by the christian college community. Complete information will be available with college office.

Campus Life

Overall experience with college life is average, but if you want to come to bangalore for education then KJC is a good option. Library is available in three blocks. Sports and extracurricular activities are not entertained unlike other colleges. A lot of clubs are there for students to join and volunteer.

Admission

Eligibility of the courses is mainly based on your marks and your performance on personal interview. Application form can be found in the college website. any information regarding college is available on the college website. Reservation benefits are available for sports quota and christian religion basis.

Faculty

Most of the faculty's are doctorate holders and have a qualification but some tend to make it seem suspicious as their behavious doesnt match with the qualifications they have. You can interact with teachers anytime you want, they are always there to help you out.

Interview Experience

A personal interview was conducted by two faculities where they engage you with your self introduction and they test your knowledge in the course you have opted for. You can prepare using previous interview videos students have posted in youtube.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

I'm pursuing CMA thus BCom was a good option.BCom is a regular degree with great life skill programs we have marketing and HR that are really useful assisting with accounting I really enjoy the subjects and we also have commerce and management events to help in real life challenges also hope for more events and activities coming to the examination time as of me I really need more time for few subjects like marketing and HR as there is a lot to fill in and as of difficultly all subjects are moderate and not much difficult to understand as we are already written exams (internal) and also teachers are good at explaining and providing notes

I didn't actually choose this college. My plan was to go to a government college. But I just applied here and wished to get selected and I did. The admission process is fully online, from interview to paying fees. The eligibility is getting a percentage above 60 and no exams are required. You just need to attend the interview on the date asked by the college and they will ask you few questions, and after few days you will get selected based on the interview.
