Likes

The thing I liked the treatment of faculties towards students is very good and the providing of study material is good.
The other things that I liked the support of teachers to students to complete their project or something is good.
And the sports area is also good and supportive.

Dislikes

The only thing I didn't liked that they want student to came daily college.
And the infrastructure of college is not so big.
They don't focus or in other words cannot give priority to sports in college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and the teachers also provide the best course with the best reference and the teacher provides the best course material which helps to students. And the difficulty of exams are not so hard you need to study just the relevant topics.

There are various events that helds in the college firstly when you get admission in this college the freshers party will organise by your senior to welcome you and then on the historical day the event will held. And in the annual day the event called fest will held in the college.

To take the admission in this college firstly you need the atleast 60% in the 12th board examination and after that if you applied for any competitive examination in the behalf of your rank the admission will proceed otherwise the donation rule also applied in this college if you are belong to rich family.

The quality of the education in the college is so much good and the qualification of faculties is very high like some of the teachers doing PHD and the HODs are also studied at PHD level. The quality and the qualification of teachers are very good.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Comprehensive college experience balancing academics placement and campus life at JBIT

I applied to several colleges like graphic era university dit university and uttaranchal university I got confirmed admission from jvit and graphic era but choose jvit because it is offer better balance of academics and extra curricular like badminton plus more affordable I got rejected from Uttarakhand university due to higher cut off my entrance its four wasn't good enough to make it there eligibility 10 + 2 with physics chemistry mathematics exams accepted J main Uttarakhand stated entrance exam UK see most students prefer Jamie cut off Jaime around 50 to 60 percentile overall experience the admission process was smooth I applied online attend a counseling session and got in based on my jee main score that's it...Read More

Simply the best

I preferred this college upon another for fees structure of this college and company placement. Every thing is good in this college only if you want study and have some fun. Eligibility is u are passed in any stream and scored above 50 percent and if u have scored good percentage in ur 12th then u will get scholarship or discount on ur fees.
