Course Curriculum Overview
Jbit offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs .it's curriculum is industry aligned . placement support for core sectors. And talking about cons I think practical knowledge is lacking . Jbit should expand the extra curricular activities to improve student engagement.
Placement Experience
The placement provided by jbit is decent. The average package is about 3-4 lpa. However , placement in core fields like civil or mechanical engineering are fewer compared to IT related jobs. Approximatelt 50- 60 % of students secure placement annually in both tech and non tech.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's just one time registration fees of 5000 and one time dress fees in first year and after that the only fees amount we have to pay is around 78200 every year . There are no other or extra charges taken by institute . Some of my batchmates who are there from some kind of reserved kota pay less fees and also in first year college provide scholarship for each and every student based on merits.
Campus Life
Jbit gas a decent campus and offers modern classrooms . Thousand of books .journals and e resoudes are available in library. Aanual fest named srijan is held in month of April or May in which a well named singer or celebrity is invited and sport day named sparda is held which encourages to play sports. There are many types of technical as well as non technical clubs in our college like yrc, tech giants
Admission
Jbit is affordable compared to many private institutions. I applied to chitkara University Chandigarh but due to some family issues I had to withdraw the decision. To take admission in jbit minimum 45 percent in 12 is required. Jee main or direct admission is accepted.
Faculty
As I said previously teachers are very much helpful and good , you can go to your teacher anytime if you face any problem .I think hod of CSE department is very nice . There are two internal exam in one semester they are mostly easy and 1 external exam in one semester it is relatively more difficult then internal exam.
Night Life
There is nothing like nightlife in jbit . After 8 pm the hostel are closed for girls and for boys at 9 pm no one can go outside after that . There's is only one cafeteria in jbit that is oakyish and library is open until 5 pm for students.
