Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is regularly updated and focuse practical learning with projects throughout the year. There might be some gaps in foundatiinal knowledge of the recent batches due to pandemic and online teaching.

The fees structure is competitive. It includes tution fees, mandatory charges for lab, library and exams, service fees etc. They offer many scholarship opportunities financial aid Including merit based and government scholarship.

Campus Life

The general impression is that the campus has positive vibes and an inclusive culture. The Institute holds annnual and technical festivals throughout the. There is also a vibrant club with various student run organization.

Hostel Facilities

They offer separate hostel for boys and girls. They have faclities like 24 hr wifi, hot water etc. The food quality is average. Breakfast and dinner are provided. Lunch is not available and is a problem.

Admission

Admission to undergraduate (B tech) programmes mainly relies on entrance exam scores in JEE and CET. The cutoff may vary depending on the course and the overall difficulty of the which can range from moderate challenging.

Faculty

Many proffesors hold phd in their respective field while many have masters degree. They seems to have focused on the core subjects. A moderate class schedule with 5-15 classes per Including lab and practicals. The teachers and faculty are friendly and approachable . They are helpful and willing to share their . In general a positive environment for both student and teachers.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
