Course Curriculum Overview

Main aspect influenced me for taking this course would the job oppurtunities after completing the course. But the course needs improvement in its technical areas.exams are conducted very fastly because of the covid pandemic caused. And they are often difficult

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees when i joined is 85000 rupees for 1 year.After completing the course the fee deposited will be around 4 lakhs including the quotion deposit. Companys are often approaching the college for placement, but it is decreased when comparing to the previous year.

Campus Life

We are having college fests known as crossroads which is often conducted in march or april month. And we are having several department fests like adharva conducted by electronics and communication department and offrods conducted by mechanical department. Books and journels are vastly available in college because of having a full fledged building especially for library. Sports activities are conducted in college very commonly. Yes there are some social groups in the college

Admission

We can get admission for the course by writing keam exam. If we got good marks then we are eligible to get merit seats, else we should go for management or NRI seats. Sc/st or obc gets more importance than general category. Exams will be conducted very often and they will be slightly difficult. There is no improvement needed for admission process its perfect

Faculty

There are many students in my college and the faculty to student ratio is reasonable to attain good knowledge. Some teachers are friendly and has a very good teaching ability. We can interact with teacher very often because they will be available everytime for us.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
