students can receive pre placement offers after their internships itself at the start of 7th semester. total of 172 companies visited the campus during IIT Roorkee placements 2024 2/3rd of the campus gets placed in the campus placements

IITs are very considerate with educational opportunities for the less privileged there are ample opportunities and scholarships and fee reduction. for people belonging to economically weaker sections theres 2/3rd fee waivers. students belonging to sc st have full fee reduction

The infrastructure of hostels arent good. The campus life is busy and buzzling really good and we have all sorts of club depending on your interest u can join any clubs ranging from sports to cultural. Our library boasts having a really good collection of books in every field there is. we have our teams from different clubs representing our college,India in foreign competitions.

The hostel facilities provided to us is really bad and pathetic. Our rooms are very small ,bit capable of accomadating 3 people in a room. The cleanliness of toilets varies from block to block, floor to floor, the floor which i reside in the quality is pathetic. Food quality is decent nowadays prior wasnt the case. in a year we pay max for hostel rooms

i secured my seat through Jee adv and jossaa councelling the admission process was very smooth we had only allocation of seats and once seat was assigned we had to pay a acceptance fee and some fee to Jossa. then we had to report to the institute and do the formalities

All the professors are highly qualified and experienced in their fields. In our department our professors do give us liberty to do more projects and grow and are linient. The student interaction is top tier we can send them mails at any point of time regarding anything and they respond at the earliest. The syllabus is always completed at the specified time at the start of the semester and mostly no extra classes are taken we get additional lectures to ask questions. In the lectures there is only 1 professor teaching the entire batch the concepts,after that we have tutorials for pratice by professor and his team of phd scholars. This greatly helps my learning process as even the phd scholars are mostly easy to speak to and you dont feel shy asking the most silliest doubts possible There is a 75% attendance policy which is like a nightmare for the students but most of our faculty ignore this rule and let us write exams without any resistance pretty smoothly. i think i pretty much
