Entrance Preview

It is a sound environment for study as well as many activities .and they provide us exposer that is needed these days for an MNC job, and placement point of view it got a tremendous reputation in India. And the way of learning is quite well, at the time of study you used to get the chance to teach Your junior in your interested field. And there are many clubs that support our extra activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here curriculum is well settled and managed in a way that it becomes a bit easy for learning step by step. And there is a proper semester system, with the proper gap to learn and get a good score. And here they take two exams in all semester fist after 2 months of sem that is mid-sem and next end sem in end of 5th month.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internship in 6th semester and avg stiped moves around 10-15k. And they provide noc for rest of Training program.

College Events

KIITFEST is one of the biggest fests organized in Eastern Region, India. Loaded with fun & blasts. 3 days of enjoyment! In a word, it’s awesome. But from last 2 year, it is not up to the mark. And please also don't compare it with iits and nits fest.

Hostel Facilities

The food is comparatively better in contrast with the food served in the government institutions and most of the private colleges.

Exam Structure

About academics, it is quite easy to score in KIIT. Just study hard for a day or two and you can secure good marks. KIIT doesn't burden you with the test every month nor there is much problem of attendance. This will help you to study for your entrance exams for further studies.

Admission

I got admission thereby scoring in Kiitee exams. And most the entrance test is free. Then I went through the counseling process and there I got the branch of my choice. and here for CS, you have to keep your rank below 1500 then only there is a chance of getting a demanding demanding branch of this era.

Faculty

Every student is guided by a mentor that take care of our academic and day to day issues we get. There is an open platform to reach to our faculty for our any kind of doubts. They used to organize different motivational sessions to keep us on right track.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
