Remarks

The management of our college is rigid and sometimes unreasonable. Moreover, they need to work on their policies!

Entrance Preview

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala is one of the premium institutes of law. From my childhood, I wanted to make my career in the corporate field. Being a student at a national law university, I can achieve my dream without much difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure of our university is simplified, dynamic and corresponding to the current legal scenario of the country. Although law courses are pretty tough, if one is interested in law, he/she will be happy to be in our university. There are many choices in subjects also, which we make based on our areas of interest of law.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college do provides and arranges an internship for us. They have ties with many firms and advocates. The general stipend varies from rs. 2000/- to rs. 10000/-.

Placement Experience

3

Placement ratio in our university is low. Not everyone gets placed in companies easily in our college. One has to build up one's own contacts, and eventually, they help the individuals to get placed. Only one company comes for placement (won't disclose the name), and it offers maximum till 6-8 lakhs p.a.

College Events

4.5

There are various events and fests which are celebrated in our university. At the end of every event or fest, there is a closure party, which is lit. If one is fond of cultural events, parties and fests, he/she would be happy to be in our university. There is Bollywood night, dandiya night, sports fest, cultural fest, open-mic competitions, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As compared to other universities and institutions, the fee structure of our university is feasible and non-expensive. Our university provides awesome facilities in our hostels, including AC rooms and spacious rooms. Hence, one can easily afford our university fee, without much hesitation!

Fees and Financial Aid

Like every university, our university also provides a scholarship to the meritorious students. One needs to get good grade points, and then he is eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life of our university is pretty much cool! We have students from all over India, making our institute cosmopolitan! Moreover, the gender ratio in our college is almost equal, or u can say 55:45 (boys: girls). And extracurricular activities are in abundance! We have debates and moot-court competitions, essay and judgment writing competitions, etc! They are of the world-class level!

Hostel Facilities

4

Yeah! As mentioned above in my previous answer, hostel facilities provided in our university are awesome. We have AC rooms in our university, yeah, AC rooms! Shocked, huh? And rooms are pretty much spacious, which are kept clean regularly by sweepers. Coming to mess food, it's good for most of the times, but quality deteriorates sometimes!

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of our university is pretty much strong! We have our alumni in every top law firm, as well as in every high court of our country! Seniors are a means of survival in our college, and they are extremely helpful!

Exam Structure

The exam structure of our university is pretty much simple. We have mid-semester exams in the middle of the semester, and end-terms at the end of each semester. Mid-semester exams are without any single holiday between two parts, meaning papers are continuous. End-terms are with 2-3 holidays between 2 consecutive exams.

Admission

For taking admission in any national law university (NLU), one needs to give CLAT, i.e. Common Law Admission Test. And then, based on one's merit and rank in CLAT, one gets admission in a national law university. Moreover, students are asked their preferences also, that in which university they would like to go.

Faculty

3

Faculty! They are the most important part of any university. They are the base through which any institute develops. Although, everything in our college is awesome. From infrastructure to facilities to course, everything is pretty much good, but we lack the qualifications and teaching skills of our professors. Except few, all are dumb, but those few are best in India!
