Likes

The atmosphere of the college is good and decent, nothing much biased in the college
The infrastructure of the college is decent and good comparatively
CCTV cameras are installed in the college for security purposes

Dislikes

There are less washrooms in the college , and the size of washroom are small too
Some teachers are biased towards the students who are quite close to the teacher

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i got was on the basis of CUET exam. The curriculum prepares you for the accountancy services but not for the real life problems. The curriculum should be more towards real life examples. The exam is being conducted semi annually and the regular test are there after almost 2 weeks or so.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't done any internships but the people around me says that the internship experience is good and the people of the company is nice and gives the stipend at right time. But I'm particularly looking to grab a summer internship now and hoping to soon get one.

Placement Experience

The student are eligible to participate in campus placement from sem 1 only, but there are not frequent campus placements in the college. The companies do come in the college and offer average placement offers. The highest package in our college is 9L and average is 4.5L.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course is very reasonable and it is around 20k for the bcom program. No books are included in the fee cost. The campus employment is not happening regularly, it does happen in a year or so. But regular seminars and webinars are there to help students to know about corporate life and the mantra about it.

Campus Life

The events are held regularly in the college which actually enhances the atmosphere of the college. The faculties also participate in the event and keep it cool for the students. Coming to sports , there are teams of different sports in the college, which regularly participate in different events in the city.

Admission

The eligibility criteria of this course is very simple, the student need to pass the cuet exam in business studies, economics, accountancy, English/Maths. The reservation system has really caused the general students' efforts. The reserved student can get a seat at even 450 but general students need to score atleast 640 to get the seat in third round. The difficulty level of the exam is easy, one can easily score good marks by studying a week before the exam.

Faculty

The faculty is good in qualification but the teaching style of some teachers are not great, they just read the book and move to the next topic and they do not explain the topic in a simplified language. The faculty to student ratio is not that large, it is adequate.

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
