I have the pleasure of Attending Sathaye College . I am studying in this college for 3 years now . I also did my JR. college here . The jr. college is great but the degree college is much better .
I am currently studying B.com in management studies and its the best . we have 2 fest each year that is organised by our depaartment . One is Synergy and the other one is Colloquim . Both these events shapes our personalities .
The campus life is fun here . The newly built in multiple turf is great for sports . The infrastructure of the college is great .

Dislikes

Some of the faculties can be a bit strict sometimes but it is for the betterment of the students .

Our batch is the first NEP batch , so we have total 11 subjects in a sem . Thats alot of subjects but it helps you to understand each field in detail . It helps us to gain knowledge in each field whether it be films or IT.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 23341 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internships provided by our college . One of the latest was of microsoft . The stipend was not disclosed . Internship provided by colleges are mostly for experience in the spevific field . Students can endulge in them and learn more .

Fees and Financial Aid

As the college is autonomous , the fees for BMS is 22000-24000 yearly . The course is for 3 years so this adds up to 66000-69000 for complete degree course . There is also some discount for reserved caste .

Campus Life

The campus is great . It is very lively . There is some or the other event running in college throughout the academic year . Students can participate in many events as well as organise them , this will help them to develop their personalities.

Admission

The cut off for BMS for genral category is 80-85% and for reserved caste is cut off is usually less . There was no entrance exams held for this course , it is based on your 12th percentage. There is a long queue during submission of form in the office , sometime you have to spend a whole day for admission . So the management can be better at the office.

Faculty

The Faculties of BMS department as well qualified about their subjects . They make their subjects easy by giving practical examples . We have many projects , like product building for better understanding .

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Because I have a family business I have to know about the business and in bba there is good subject about business like marketing account and etc Because of some subject you get real life experience example business communication because of business communication you get know how to improve you communication skill and marketing and because of marketing subject you get to know how to improve you marketing skill The teaching method is good all the teachers clear the doubts but the major problem some teachers are not there to clear doubt that is the major problem The timings of exam is 9 to 11 And in internal papper there are 2 papper in one day the timings is 9 to 10 for 1 st papper and the second papper timing is 11to12

Placement Experience:

campus placements are really good better than most bba colleges , a student can get placed for around 4L-15L depending upon his gpa and other skills . Companies like pwc, deloitte , goldman sachs and larsen &turbo come in college for placements. Average CTC is around 6LPA where is highest package is around 15LPA. My plans after getting this degree is getting 2 years of work experience then go to abroad for my mba in finance field

A Journey of Growth: Reflections on Sathaye College

I had choosen this college as first specifically. It was a good one and nearby to me. I don't remember other college's acceptance as I took the admission in this one because my name was on the merit list as expected. I got into the college because of Sanskrit subject and got a seat at 76%. I got admission in grade 11 after clearing standard 10 so there was no specific exam for admission.
